Join Athens Creative Theatre for a summer of growth, exploration, and fun in our Youth Theatre Camps with opportunities for ages 8-12.
Each one week theatre camp focuses on introducing young aspiring actors to the basics of theatrical performance including the basics of stage directions, how to navigate a script, ways to develop a character and more. Camp monologues and activities will vary from week according to the thematic focus of each camp.
Campers will enjoy theatre games and activities focused on building valuable theatre skills that build emotional awareness, reading comprehension, and improvisational skills.
Participants will receive a theatre camp guide via email in the weeks prior to their scheduled camp session which will include camp rules/needs, pick-up and drop-off information, and other helpful tips for getting the most out of your summer camp experience.
