The data provided - emergency contacts, medical information, etc. - will help us better serve you. Our Upcoming Registration:

Registration for many activities open 2 weeks prior to the start of the program and remain open until the start of the program or the activity is full. If an activity is full and you are interested in enrolling your child, please add them to the waiting list.

Refund Policy:

For each registration quarter, we will allow a 2 week grace period from the ACC resident registration date to receive a 100% refund for all cancellation requests. After the 2 week grace period, our normal refund policy will go into effect and a 7 business day notice will be required to receive a 75% refund back. Requests received after the required notice will not qualify for a refund. This only applies to program registrations. Reservations do not apply.

Summer Registration 2026:

    • Begins Saturday, March 14th at 9:00 a.m. for ACC residents
    • Begins Monday, March 16th at 12:00 p.m. for out of county residents
    • Programs for Summer registration will be available to view on Monday, February 10th, but registration will begin the dates above. 
    • Summer Camp Open Houses will be hosted on the following dates:
               Thursday, February 19 from 5:30 PM -7:30 PM at Memorial Park, 293 Gran Ellen Drive
             Saturday, February 21 from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM at Heard Park, 400 McKinley Drive
             Wednesday, February 25 from 12:00 PM- 4:00 PM at the Lyndon House Arts Center, 293 Hoyt Street

*** All Open House locations have free parking and are on the Athens Transit bus line. Staff will be on site to provide information on Department camp details, including art camps, day camps, gymnastics camps, mini camps, sports camps, theatre camps, and more. Staff will be able to assist with creating an online registration account. Additionally, staff will be available to process scholarship applications on site. Potential scholarship applicants are reminded to bring the required documentation including a utility bill from the last 90 days, a valid photo ID, and their most recent federal tax return with the children listed. Leisure Services scholarships are only available for qualifying Athens-Clarke County residents under the age of 18.***

2026 Scholarship Participants:
 


Scholarships are to be renewed at the beginning of each new year. Please stop by the nearest Leisure Services building with your 1040 and utility bill. Scholarship balances do not roll over into the next year. We are unable to retroactively reimburse for registrations paid prior to scholarship approval. Individuals with expired scholarships and new scholarship applicants must visit a Leisure Services Department facility office at least five business days prior to registering for a program.

  • Those who wish to use the scholarship when registering for summer camp, must apply by February 27 to guarantee that the scholarship is applied to the account in time for camp registration.
