Our Half Day camps give students the ability to participate in 4 hours of concentrated dance study! Choose from a variety dance forms including, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, West African Dance and Drum and Hip Hop. All dance wear is required prior to class. Pack your child a lite non-microwavable lunch full of proteins and/or some fresh fruit and water.
Take Flight: Small Steps and Big Leaps: This is an open level program for 4 - 6 year olds. Soar into the world of dance with Take Flight: Small Steps and BIG Leaps! This enchanting camp is designed for young dancers (ages 4-6) who are ready to take their first steps into the exciting world of Ballet and Tap. With a focus on fun, creativity, and movement, this camp introduces little ones to the fundamentals of both ballet and tap dance in a nurturing and playful environment. Parents are required to acquire dance wear prior to the start of class. Girls: black leotard (no skirt attached), flesh tone tights, pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Boys: White fitted t-shirt, black biker shorts, black ballet shoes, and black tap shoes.
Performance Class: This multi-discipline dance class is for the beginner to moderately trained dancer. Students will learn Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop dance. This class is geared towards students who want an opportunity to enhance their performance skills. Students and teachers will work together to create mini performances to present at the end of the week showcase. Parents are required to acquire dancewear prior to the start of class: Solid white t-shirt, solid black leggings, and black jazz shoes. Participants must sign video and photo release in order to participate in this program.
Take Flight: Jazz Grooves and Hip Hop Moves: Get ready to ignite your passion for dance at Jazz Grooves & Hip Hop Moves Camp—where two exciting styles collide for an unforgettable week of rhythm, style, and energy! This camp is perfect for dancers of all levels who want to explore the best of both worlds, blending the smooth, rhythmic flow of jazz with the high-energy, street-savvy vibes of hip hop. Music selections are clean and age appropriate. Prior to the start of class, parents are required to purchase dance wear. This experience is designed to connect you with the heart-pounding beats, powerful movements, and rich cultural traditions of West Africa as you dance and drum. Whether you're new to African dance or looking to deepen your practice, this camp is a celebration of movement, music, and self-expression. In this program community, movement, and music come together to promote friendships, fun, and collaboration as students develop rhythms, musicality, and coordination under the guidance of our expert instructors.
Take Flight: Elevate Fitness: Reach new levels of fun and fitness with Take Flight: Elevate Your Fitness! Participate in a weeklong competition to win the most points during outdoor sports, games, and drills that sharpen your agility, balance, and coordination. At the end of the competition participants get to pick prizes. Everyone wins in this supportive environment that encourages growth, improvement, and empowerment.
