Sandy Creek Mini Camps (4-6 years)

Mini-Camp is held at Sandy Creek Nature Center. 4 sessions will be offered. 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Early and late care are NOT available.  SCNC Members receive a 10% discount. 

At this time, campers will not be required to wear masks or socially distance. Camps will operate at full capacity. Staff will continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions.

June 15-17 Fairy Tale Fun
Fee Fi Fo Fum! We’ll bring fairy tales to life using our natural environment during this mini- camp. Listen to a short story then bring it to life by building fairy houses, meeting a live dragon and completing a fairy tale obstacle course. 

June 22-24  Animal Olympics
Participate in activities to test your skills against animals.  Come see if you can run faster than a turkey and hop better than a toad. Be as active as animals this week as we participate in Olympic activities.
 
 
July 6-8  Splash Party
Escape the heat with this week of water fun.  Relay games, creek walks, and muddy fun.  Explore the water in search of nymphs, tadpoles, and other living creatures.  See what lurks in the water during this water week.
 
July 20-22 Habitats are Hip
 Habitats can be big or small! Flip over logs, use binoculars to see what is inside a nest, and use a magnifying glass to discover what is living under a rock.  The nature center is alive with hip habitats.
