Camp-Funtastic: The Greatest Adventure at Lay Park • Register • View Cart •

Join us at Lay Park this summer for Camp-Funtastic: The Greatest Adventure where campers will "travel" the world in 8 weeks and learn about world cultures through crafts, cuisine, and a weekly themed adventure! Every week includes a STEM focus and an age-appropriate ecology lesson to extend learning through the summer in addition to classic recreation games and summer camp activities.  

Week 1 | June 3-7 | Asian Adventure - Dragons and kites and ramen, Oh My! Our first adventure is a trip through Asia where campers will engineer a quaking tower, build flying kites, and explore oriental food.

Week 2 | June 10-14 | South American Adventure - Can you survive a week in the rainforest? Campers will learn about South America through a variety of STEM challenges, games, scavenger hunts, and DIY snacks.

Week 3 | June 17-21 | African Adventure - Campers will explore the food and fashion of Africa, make a working volcano, and go on safari through the savanna.

Week 4 | June 24-28 | Australia Adventure - Join us as we explore the land Down Under. Campers will go under the sea to learn about the colorful coral reef and ocean conservation by building and racing boats made from recycled materials.

Week 5 | July 1-5 | North American Adventure - Celebrate Independence Day and become a spy to solve a mystery. Campers will create crafty gadgets and build get away rockets to aid their mission.

Week 6 | July 8-12 | European Adventure - Camper will take an art tour through Europe, from classic art to art in STEM. We’ll end the week with Talent Show Theatre starring our campers!

Week 7 | July 15-19 | Antarctica Adventure - Campers will have an opportunity to wear Christmas gear again when we celebrate Christmas in July and tour through Antarctica! Campers will learn to make cold treats from scratch, tie dye projects, and about our cold weather friends, the polar bears.

Week 8 | July 22-26 | Out of This World Adventure - Travel through the galaxy with us as our campers learn about space, astronauts and a engineering fun!
