Camp is held at Sandy Creek Nature Center & Sandy Creek Park. Sessions are June 2nd–July 18th, 2025, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Early and late care is available. Registration is limited to 4 weeks per camper. SCNC Members receive a 10% discount.
Designed as an outdoor oriented and active camp. Campers will swim, enjoy outdoor games, hike, and more. If your children love the outdoors and lead an active lifestyle, this camp is for them. All sessions include swimming, canoeing, hiking, archery, crafts and outdoor games. (weather permitting)

Plunge into the world of animals where your week is filled with animal-themed adventures, hands-on wildlife experiences, and nature exploration. Campers will embark on thrilling safaris through nature trails, canoeing in Lake Chapman, fishing, and learning fascinating facts about wildlife.
June 9th- 13th
Nature’s Cleanup Crew
Unleash the fascinating world of nature’s unsung heroes! Explore the vital roles living organisms play in keeping our ecosystems healthy and balanced. Campers will learn how scavengers like vultures and coyotes clean up the environment. Get up close with the fascinating world of fungi. Our days will be filled with nature hikes, field experiments, and outdoor challenges.

Wild Jobs
Ever wonder what it would be like to work with animals or have a job outdoors? Step into the shoes of scientists, conduct experiments, and explore the natural world. Study the stars like an astronomer, discover tiny insects as an entomologist, gain outdoor survival skills and learn to paddle like a river guide. This camp is packed with exciting opportunities!

Join us for a splash-tacular adventure. Explore the wonders of water through activities like canoeing, swimming in the lake, water games, and aquatic animal discovery. Outdoor Rockstars
Grab your hiking boots, your curiosity, and your sense of adventure—because it's time to rock the outdoors! Participate in orienteering, nature obstacle courses, archery, and team challenges. Go on a rock hunt, explore geological formations, drum on logs, trek through the park, and find hidden spots on the trails. Campers will discover the joys of active play in the great outdoors!

Inventor’s Workshop
Learn how animals, plants, and ecosystems have inspired some of the world’s most ingenious inventions. Build a time machine, design cardboard boats, and think like a beaver to dam up flowing water. Every day is filled with exciting challenges that encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Water Wonders
Dive into the world of water as campers explore wetlands, aquatic animals, and ecosystems that thrive around water! Observe wildlife in aquatic habitats, paddle through exciting adventures, and splash into fun activities all week long.
