The Skateboarding Program is perfect for kids ages 8–14 who want to learn the basics of skateboarding in a fun and supportive environment! Beginners will focus on foundational skills like balancing, riding, and simple tricks while gaining confidence on their boards. Skate park etiquette and safety will also be introduced to help skaters feel comfortable and ready to enjoy their time at the park.Duration: 6 weeks, 1 day a week Beginner Sessions: Wednesdays or Thursdays, 5:30 PM–6:30 PM Location: 4440 Lexington Road, Athens, GA 30605 - Skate Park of AthensWhat to Bring: Skateboard, Helmet, Safety gear, Sunscreen, and Water/water bottle for hydration This program is a great way for beginners to get outdoors, stay active, and develop a new skill while having fun with friends.
