A recreational youth flag football league emphasizing the importance of physical health and teamwork, while teaching the basic fundamentals of flag football. Each team will average 2 activities per week (practice and/or gameplay) throughout the season.Registration:Begins Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. for ACC residents and Monday, January 13, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. for out-of-county residents.Age Divisions:Please note: Age divisions are subject to change based on the final registration count. All age divisions are coed. 6U/8U (COED) 10U (COED) 12U/14U (COED) Age Control Date:September 1, 2025. Age on the control date determines league placement. (Must be 5 years old).Practice & Game Dates:10U practice on Tuesdays @ 5:45 p.m. 6/8U & 12/14U practice on Mondays @ 5:45 p.m. 10U games will be played on Thursdays starting @ 5:45 p.m. and/ or @6:45p.m. 6/8U & 12/14U games will be played on Wednesdays starting @ 5:45 p.m. and/ or @6:45p.m. There will be two practices scheduled per week up until games start. Once games begin in April and run through early-May, practices will scale back to one practice and one game per week. Practices and games will be held at Southeast Clarke Park.Player Equipment:All players are provided a team jersey and (1) mouth guard.Fee:  $65 for County Residents  (Scholarship eligible) $97.50 for Non-County Residents Volunteer Coaches:We are seeking dedicated volunteer coaches for our youth flag football league. Volunteering as a coach is a fulfilling experience that benefits both the players and the volunteers. Coaches help young athletes build skills, character, and a sense of teamwork.As a token of our appreciation, we offer reimbursement of registration fees (at the end of the season) for one child of parents who volunteer as coaches.
