Athens-Clarke Leisure Services offers small group swim lessons for children ages 3 and up. All lessons are taught by certified lifeguards. Classes are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Your child must be 3 years old or older and potty trained to participate in Swim School.The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at the Bishop Park, Lay Park, and Heard Park pools.

Summer Teen Camp at Heard Park offers a fun and safe place for kids to enjoy active, creative summer days. Campers participate in outdoor games, arts and crafts, sports, and team activities and weekly field trips while making new friends and lasting memories. Led by caring staff, our camp provides a welcoming environment filled with fun, discovery, and adventure all summer long!

Swim School - Swim School Session 3 - 5:30pm Heard Park
Athens-Clarke Leisure Services offers small group swim lessons for children ages 3 and up. All lessons are taught by certified lifeguards. Classes are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Your child must be 3 years old or older and potty trained to participate in Swim School.The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at the Bishop Park, Lay Park, and Heard Park pools.

Whether you like to play for fun or for competition, come play with the Athens Georgia Table Tennis Club on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Saturday afternoons from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Aaron Heard Park & Community Center.
