Join us this summer at Memorial Park and Bear Hollow Zoo! Explore outdoor and nature-based activities from swimming and hiking to animal encounters and more. Week 1: June 2nd-6th"Mammal Mania" Get ready for an exciting week of diving into the amazing world of mammals! From furry forest dwellers to scurrying friends who live below the surface, campers will learn all about the unique adaptations, habitats, and behaviors of mammals that reside at Bear Hollow Zoo!Week 2: June 9th-13th"Spectacular Senses"Prepare yourself to enjoy a sensory-rich adventure! Throughout the week, we will utilize our five senses to help us navigate the natural world. We will also learn how animal senses differ from our own.Week 3: June 16th-18th & June 20th*NO CAMP THURSDAY, JUNE 19TH*"Hidden Helpers" Help us uncover the secret superheroes of nature! From pollinators and decomposers to underground engineers, campers will discover the tiny but mighty creatures that keep ecosystems thriving.Week 4: June 23rd-27th"Birds and Beaks" Join us for a week dedicated to our feathered friends! Campers will explore the amazing world of birds, learning about their unique adaptations and diverse habitats. Get ready to flap, chirp, and explore the wonders of birds!Week 5: June 30th-July 3rd *NO CAMP FRIDAY, JULY 4TH*"Flora Fanatics"During this week, campers will explore the incredible variety of plant life, from towering trees to tiny wildflowers. They will learn how plants grow, survive, and support entire ecosystems! Hopefully, this experience will inspire campers to blossom into junior botanists.Week 6: July 7th-11th"Reptile Rangers"Slither, crawl, and explore a thrilling time all about reptiles! Campers will dive into the scaly world of snakes, lizards, and turtles, discovering their unique roles in ecosystems. Get ready for a week of scaly surprises and a chance to change the narrative on these misunderstood creatures!  Week 7: July 14th-18th"Dusky Dwellers" Step into the twilight and explore the creatures that come alive at dusk! Campers will discover the fascinating lives of nocturnal and crepuscular animals like owls, foxes, and skunks all during the convenient hours of the day.Week 8: July 21st-25th"Animal Architects"Prepare to uncover the amazing engineers of the animal kingdom! Campers will explore how creatures like beavers, birds, ants, and spiders create incredible homes and habitats in nature.Camp registration is limited to 4 weeks per camper. Campers must bring a bag lunch. Camp hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. Join us this summer at Memorial Park and Bear Hollow Zoo! Explore outdoor and nature-based activities from swimming and hiking to animal encounters and more. Week 1: June 2nd-6th"Mammal Mania" Get ready for an exciting week of diving into the amazing world of mammals! From furry forest dwellers to scurrying friends who live below the surface, campers will learn all about the unique adaptations, habitats, and behaviors of mammals that reside at Bear Hollow Zoo!Week 2: June 9th-13th"Spectacular Senses"Prepare yourself to enjoy a sensory-rich adventure! Throughout the week, we will utilize our five senses to help us navigate the natural world. We will also learn how animal senses differ from our own.Week 3: June 16th-18th & June 20th*NO CAMP THURSDAY, JUNE 19TH*"Hidden Helpers" Help us uncover the secret superheroes of nature! From pollinators and decomposers to underground engineers, campers will discover the tiny but mighty creatures that keep ecosystems thriving.Week 4: June 23rd-27th"Birds and Beaks" Join us for a week dedicated to our feathered friends! Campers will explore the amazing world of birds, learning about their unique adaptations and diverse habitats. Get ready to flap, chirp, and explore the wonders of birds!Week 5: June 30th-July 3rd *NO CAMP FRIDAY, JULY 4TH*"Flora Fanatics"During this week, campers will explore the incredible variety of plant life, from towering trees to tiny wildflowers. They will learn how plants grow, survive, and support entire ecosystems! Hopefully, this experience will inspire campers to blossom into junior botanists.Week 6: July 7th-11th"Reptile Rangers"Slither, crawl, and explore a thrilling time all about reptiles! Campers will dive into the scaly world of snakes, lizards, and turtles, discovering their unique roles in ecosystems. Get ready for a week of scaly surprises and a chance to change the narrative on these misunderstood creatures!  Week 7: July 14th-18th"Dusky Dwellers" Step into the twilight and explore the creatures that come alive at dusk! Campers will discover the fascinating lives of nocturnal and crepuscular animals like owls, foxes, and skunks all during the convenient hours of the day.Week 8: July 21st-25th"Animal Architects"Prepare to uncover the amazing engineers of the animal kingdom! Campers will explore how creatures like beavers, birds, ants, and spiders create incredible homes and habitats in nature.Camp registration is limited to 4 weeks per camper. Campers must bring a bag lunch. Camp hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. Early Drop Off (7:30 am to 9:00 am) and/or Late Pick Up (4:00 pm to 5:30 pm) are available for an additional fee.Participants will receive via email a guide to camp including what to bring daily and camp rules/needs.
