This teens only day camp is an exciting blend of adventure, creativity, environmental stewardship, and community service. With hands-on activities and unique volunteer opportunities, teens will have the opportunity to connect with nature, develop new skills, and make lasting memories. The camp is organized around seven core themes, each offering a mix of learning, service, teamwork, and fun. Please note that camp registration is limited to two weeks per camper.

ACTIVE Teen Camp - Week 2 (6/9/25-6/13/25)
This teens only day camp is an exciting blend of adventure, creativity, environmental stewardship, and community service. With hands-on activities and unique volunteer opportunities, teens will have the opportunity to connect with nature, develop new skills, and make lasting memories. The camp is organized around seven core themes, each offering a mix of learning, service, teamwork, and fun. Please note that camp registration is limited to two weeks per camper.

Sandy Creek Day Camps (7-8 years) - Nature's Cleanup Crew: Week 2: (7-8 years)
Camp is held at Sandy Creek Nature Center & Sandy Creek Park. Sessions are June 2nd–July 18th, 2025, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Early and late care is available. Registration is limited to 4 weeks per camper. SCNC Members receive a 10% discount. Designed as an outdoor oriented and active camp. Campers will swim, enjoy outdoor games, hike, and more. If your children love the outdoors and lead an active lifestyle, this camp is for them. All sessions include swimming, canoeing, hiking, archery, crafts and outdoor games. (weather permitting)

Campers will learn how scavengers like vultures and coyotes clean up the environment. Get up close with the fascinating world of fungi. Our days will be filled with nature hikes, field experiments, and outdoor challenges. June 16th-20th-No Camp on Thursday June 19thWild Jobs Ever wonder what it would be like to work with animals or have a job outdoors? Step into the shoes of scientists, conduct experiments, and explore the natural world. Study the stars like an astronomer, discover tiny insects as an entomologist, gain outdoor survival skills and learn to paddle like a river guide. This camp is packed with exciting opportunities! June 23rd-27thAquatic OdysseyJoin us for a splash-tacular adventure. Explore the wonders of water through activities like canoeing, swimming in the lake, water games, and aquatic animal discovery. Campers will embark on an unforgettable journey through lakes, streams, and beyond. Come cool off, get wet, and make a splash in the great outdoors!June 30th-July 3rd-No Camp Friday July 4thOutdoor RockstarsGrab your hiking boots, your curiosity, and your sense of adventure—because it's time to rock the outdoors! Participate in orienteering, nature obstacle courses, archery, and team challenges. Go on a rock hunt, explore geological formations, drum on logs, trek through the park, and find hidden spots on the trails. Campers will discover the joys of active play in the great outdoors! July 7th-11thInventor’s WorkshopLearn how animals, plants, and ecosystems have inspired some of the world’s most ingenious inventions.
