Join the Trails and Open Space team for a guided hiking adventure outside of the county! Whether you're new to the area, don't have reliable transportation for longer drives, or simply prefer to explore with a group, this program is perfect for you. Come enjoy a day of hiking with us and discover new trails in a fun, supportive environment!

Audiobook Hike
Take your story on the go! In partnership with Athens Regional Library, join us for a refreshing walk on the trail while listening to the audiobook of your choice. This program combines the joy of reading with the benefits of light exercise and time outdoors.
Bring your favorite way to listen to your audiobook, headphones, and walking shoes and we’ll provide the beautiful trail and community atmosphere. After the hike, enjoy snacks, drinks and the chance to swap listening recommendations with fellow participants.
Who: 12 and up
When: 3rd Saturday of each month, 9:30am-11:30am

What to Bring: Phone/device with downloaded audiobook, headphones, water bottle
