Celebrate the joy of the season with our Winter Holidays programs, where festive fun and community spirit come alive. From creative activities to cheerful gatherings, there’s something for everyone to enjoy during this magical time of year.
Gingerbread Workshop
Join Lay Park for the Holidays to construct and design your very own gingerbread house house. Each family will receive a pre-baked gingerbread house, icing, and all of the gumdrops, candy canes, sprinkles, and specialty candies you will need to make your masterpiece! You will then get to take your showpiece home to enjoy and show off for the holidays.
One house per family.

Grinchmas at Howard Park
The Grinch is at it again this holiday season! He moves so fast, there's no way this can last. As he makes his way to Rocksprings to spoil our holiday cheer, you can experience some Whoville magic and Grinchmas surprises for everyone!

Holiday Kid Hike
Tend to last minute holiday to-do-list and let your kids join staff on a holiday hike at Sandy Creek Nature Center.

Cookies with Santa
Is it Christmas morning? Come in your pajamas and enjoy decorating cookies with Santa. Children will receive cookies to decorate and crafts to make. Each child is given an opportunity to talk to Santa. Adults, remember to bring your cameras.
