Sandy Creek Mini Camps (4-6 years) • Register • View Cart •

Mini-Camp is held at Sandy Creek Nature Center. 4 sessions will be offered. 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Early and late care are NOT available.  SCNC Members receive a 10% discount. Participants will be limited to 2 total sessions.

At this time, campers will not be required to wear masks or socially distance. Camps will operate at full capacity. Staff will continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions.

Week 1:  It Makes Scents: Follow your nose to uncover the natural world around us. Use your senses as you explore nature. Discover how our senses compare to animals.
Week 2: Bee Great! What’s all the buzz about? Pollinators! Mini Campers will search for a variety of pollinators and learn why they are important.
Week 3: Animal Olympics The Olympics are starting soon so what better way to get excited than to participate in the Animal Olympics! Can you run as fast as a cheetah? Flap your arms as fast as a hummingbird’s wings? Test your skills against animals during this week of celebration.
Week 4: Puddle Stompers: STOMP! SPLASH! SPLAT! Can you think of a better way to explore our waterways than by stomping and splashing our way through? Mini Campers will explore a natural body of water. Be prepared for a wet, muddy week!
