Nature's Greatest Hits Teen Camp (13-15yrs) • Register • View Cart •

Get ready to explore Athens’ greatest natural hits…with a twist! This nature-based teen camp will take place across Sandy Creek Park, Memorial Park/Bear Hollow Zoo, and Sandy Creek Nature Center. While the camp’s home-base will be at Sandy Creek Park, campers will get the best of all three facilities! Each day will hold a variety of new adventures as campers get the inside scoop on the inner workings of the zoo, have up close encounters with the animals that call Bear Hollow Zoo home, go swimming, learn archery, kayak, participate in trail hikes, and much more! Special sessions will occur each week and include unique presentations, hands-on workshops, and venturing out on field trips to explore local gems in and around Athens.

Camp registration is limited to 2 weeks per camper. Campers must bring a bag lunch. Camp hours are 9:00am-4:00pm daily with drop-off and pick-up occurring at Sandy Creek Park – Pavilion 1 (Note: This is NOT the same facility as Sandy Creek Nature Center). Early and late care are not available for this camp.

Registered participants will receive a guide to camp via email the week before their registered session. This will include camp rules, highlighted weekly activities, and what to bring each day. You will also receive a pickup tag to display in your vehicle at drop off/pick up on the first day of camp.

Week 4: June 24-28, 2024
Week 5: July 1-5, 2024 *NO camp on Thursday, July 4th*
Week 6: July 8-12, 2024
Week 7: July 15-19, 2024
