The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

Then we will come up with our own words to live by. Week 3:  Parties that InspireLet’s plan a party from creating the theme, picking the menu, choosing the music, crafting decorations and celebrating our creativity! Week 4:  Daily InspirationsWe don’t have to look far to find inspiration, let’s look at the beauty and power of nature to inspire ourselves and each other. Week 5:  Inspired PayTime to explore all types of games played all over the world from the past and present, and see if we can create a game ourselves! Week 6: Who’s your Hero?Who inspires you and why?  We will make a collage out of our favorite heroes with a show and tell at the end of the week! Week 7:  Decades of InspirationGo back in time and discover which decade inspires you the most. This week we will campaign our way to the top. Do you have what it takes to run this camp?  Week 6: Out Of This WorldThis week we are out of this world but with a twist. Athens-Clarke Leisure Services offers small group swim lessons for children ages 3 and up. All lessons are taught by certified lifeguards. Classes are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Your child must be 3 years old or older and potty trained to participate in Swim School.The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at the Bishop Park, Lay Park, and Heard Park pools.

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

Then we will come up with our own words to live by. Week 3:  Parties that InspireLet’s plan a party from creating the theme, picking the menu, choosing the music, crafting decorations and celebrating our creativity! Week 4:  Daily InspirationsWe don’t have to look far to find inspiration, let’s look at the beauty and power of nature to inspire ourselves and each other. Week 5:  Inspired PayTime to explore all types of games played all over the world from the past and present, and see if we can create a game ourselves! Week 6: Who’s your Hero?Who inspires you and why?  We will make a collage out of our favorite heroes with a show and tell at the end of the week! Week 7:  Decades of InspirationGo back in time and discover which decade inspires you the most. Groups will represent the decade of their choice in their own creative way. Week 8:  Talents that InspirePut your talent on display with an inspiring end of camp show!  Group and individual talents will be featured as we celebrate each other and the end of summer camp!

Adventure, laughter, and new friendships await, turn summer into a celebration!!Week 1: Digging Into The Summer Welcome Teen Campers! We are back and ready for new adventures! Join us as campers dig deep into our first week with many challenges to face!  Week 2: Soak in the SunIt is way to hot to stay dry. This week is all about getting soaked from all our crazy activities we have in store for our campers. Bring a change of clothes! Your going to need them. Week 3: Color Me CrazyJoin us this week as we go color crazy! Campers will explore their creativity with creating fun and new projects! Get ready to have a color blast! Week 4: Breakers' ParadiseTeen Camp Got Talent! Join us as we collaborate to write and produce a new song!  Week 5: Red, White and You!Teen Camp for President ! This week we will campaign our way to the top. Do you have what it takes to run this camp?  Week 6: Out Of This WorldThis week we are out of this world but with a twist. Get ready to hoo down and show out!  Week 7: Jingle in the SunIt's Christmas in July! Jingle and jam with us this week as we celebrate holiday festivities! Lets surf in a winter wonderland! Week 8: Backyard ShenanigansWe are going out our last week with a bang! Campers will enjoy our backyard extravaganza as we get ready for the new school year! Wear your tanning lotion because this week we are OUTSIDE!***Please do not send personal items to the program such as cell phones, electronic games, iPads, money, or toys. Staff is not responsible for any misplaced, damaged, or stolen items. Please label all of your child’s belongings.

Athens-Clarke Leisure Services offers small group swim lessons for children ages 3 and up. All lessons are taught by certified lifeguards. Classes are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Your child must be 3 years old or older and potty trained to participate in Swim School.The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at the Bishop Park, Lay Park, and Heard Park pools.
