9:00 AM - 9:45 AM    Kinderswim - Kinderswim 9am - Lay Park
The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

Join us at Lay Park this summer for Camp-Funtastic where campers will explore different adventures through recreational games, crafts, and activities.  Week 1: June 7-11 Exploring Game Mania Let’s Get Active! Forget about playing video games the traditional way. Campers will create interactive games for everyone to play influenced by some of the most popular video games. Week 2: June 14-18 Exploring the Future Jump in our “Lay Park Time Machine” as we take a special voyage into the future. Campers will have the opportunity to brainstorm and create products they believe will be available in the future. Week 3: June 21-25 Exploring the Safari Join us as we take our explorations outside! Campers will learn about the unique wildlife that make up the safari through a variety of games, scavenger hunts and crafts.Week 4: June 28-July 2 Exploring AmericaCampers will celebrate Independence Day all week by learning interesting facts and creating themed art to show American pride. Week 5: July 6-9 Exploring ArtBring out your inner artist as we explore various forms of art throughout the week. We will conduct a mini art showcase to give our campers an opportunity show off their masterpieces. Week 6: July 12-16 Exploring Dinosaurs  Explore the world of Dinosaurs! This week our explorations lead us to some of the coolest reptiles known to man. Campers will learn about a variety dinosaurs and fossils, through games, crafts, and projects. Week 7: July 19-23 Exploring Outer Space Olympics Edition 5,4,3,2,1…Blast Off!  This week we will compete in a variety Olympic style events with an outer space twist. Campers will earn points throughout the week with daily competitions, but only one group can take home the gold! Week 8: July 26-30 Exploring Under the Sea What a time it will be, to end our explorations under the Sea! Campers will learn about sea creatures and the oceans they call home. Week 1 June 7-11: 1…2…3…TEAM!Let’s put our collective minds to the test. Teamwork will be needed to overcome physical and mental challenges each day at camp. Always remember, Together Everyone Achieves More. Week 2 June 14-18: Camp 101 There’s no summer without camping! Our campers will participate in a variety of camp related activities, such as, basic survival skills, tent building, hiking, cooking our own food, and more. Week 3 June 21-25: Shoot for the Stars East Athens and Lay Park will compete virtually in traditional and non-traditional sports competitions played around the world. Week 4 June 28-2: AmericanaLet’s get ready for a patriotic week! All games, activities, and crafts will showcase what makes America so special. We will cap the week off with a Friday cookout. Week 5 July 6-July 9: Wild at ArtUnleash your imagination by being introduced to different forms of fine art. We will explore the world of art and discover different ways we can express ourselves. Week 6 July 12-16: TechknowledgyCould you go a day with no technology? Probably not! That's why we're experiencing a technology take-over. Campers will create videos, design projects, and discuss what the future might look like. Week 7 July 19-23: Teen Choice Teens, here’s your chance to create and carry out a whole week of camp! Campers will use teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving to create a week of summer fun. Week 8 July 26-30: Camp RewindThis last week ties in all previous 7 weeks of camp. We will show our team spirit as we reflect on our favorite activities, sports, bonds created, and camp memories.

Athens-Clarke Leisure Services offers small group swim lessons for children ages 3 and up. All lessons are taught by certified lifeguards. Classes are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Your child must be 3 years old or older and potty trained to participate in Swim School.The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at the Bishop Park, Lay Park and East Athens Community Center pools.

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

Join us at Lay Park this summer for Camp-Funtastic where campers will explore different adventures through recreational games, crafts, and activities.  Week 1: June 7-11 Exploring Game Mania Let’s Get Active! Forget about playing video games the traditional way. Campers will create interactive games for everyone to play influenced by some of the most popular video games. Week 2: June 14-18 Exploring the Future Jump in our “Lay Park Time Machine” as we take a special voyage into the future. Campers will have the opportunity to brainstorm and create products they believe will be available in the future. Week 3: June 21-25 Exploring the Safari Join us as we take our explorations outside! Campers will learn about the unique wildlife that make up the safari through a variety of games, scavenger hunts and crafts.Week 4: June 28-July 2 Exploring AmericaCampers will celebrate Independence Day all week by learning interesting facts and creating themed art to show American pride. Week 5: July 6-9 Exploring ArtBring out your inner artist as we explore various forms of art throughout the week. We will conduct a mini art showcase to give our campers an opportunity show off their masterpieces. Week 6: July 12-16 Exploring Dinosaurs  Explore the world of Dinosaurs! This week our explorations lead us to some of the coolest reptiles known to man. Campers will learn about a variety dinosaurs and fossils, through games, crafts, and projects. Week 7: July 19-23 Exploring Outer Space Olympics Edition 5,4,3,2,1…Blast Off!  This week we will compete in a variety Olympic style events with an outer space twist. Campers will earn points throughout the week with daily competitions, but only one group can take home the gold! Week 8: July 26-30 Exploring Under the Sea What a time it will be, to end our explorations under the Sea! Campers will learn about sea creatures and the oceans they call home. Our campers will participate in a variety of camp related activities, such as, basic survival skills, tent building, hiking, cooking our own food, and more. Week 3 June 21-25: Shoot for the Stars East Athens and Lay Park will compete virtually in traditional and non-traditional sports competitions played around the world. Week 4 June 28-2: AmericanaLet’s get ready for a patriotic week! All games, activities, and crafts will showcase what makes America so special. We will cap the week off with a Friday cookout. Week 5 July 6-July 9: Wild at ArtUnleash your imagination by being introduced to different forms of fine art. We will explore the world of art and discover different ways we can express ourselves. Week 6 July 12-16: TechknowledgyCould you go a day with no technology? Probably not! That's why we're experiencing a technology take-over. The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

Join us at Lay Park this summer for Camp-Funtastic where campers will explore different adventures through recreational games, crafts, and activities.  Week 1: June 7-11 Exploring Game Mania Let’s Get Active! Forget about playing video games the traditional way. Campers will create interactive games for everyone to play influenced by some of the most popular video games. Week 2: June 14-18 Exploring the Future Jump in our “Lay Park Time Machine” as we take a special voyage into the future. Campers will have the opportunity to brainstorm and create products they believe will be available in the future. Week 3: June 21-25 Exploring the Safari Join us as we take our explorations outside! Campers will learn about the unique wildlife that make up the safari through a variety of games, scavenger hunts and crafts.Week 4: June 28-July 2 Exploring AmericaCampers will celebrate Independence Day all week by learning interesting facts and creating themed art to show American pride. Week 5: July 6-9 Exploring ArtBring out your inner artist as we explore various forms of art throughout the week. We will conduct a mini art showcase to give our campers an opportunity show off their masterpieces. Week 6: July 12-16 Exploring Dinosaurs  Explore the world of Dinosaurs! This week our explorations lead us to some of the coolest reptiles known to man. Campers will learn about a variety dinosaurs and fossils, through games, crafts, and projects. Week 7: July 19-23 Exploring Outer Space Olympics Edition 5,4,3,2,1…Blast Off!  This week we will compete in a variety Olympic style events with an outer space twist. Campers will earn points throughout the week with daily competitions, but only one group can take home the gold! Week 8: July 26-30 Exploring Under the Sea What a time it will be, to end our explorations under the Sea! Campers will learn about sea creatures and the oceans they call home. Week 2: June 14-18 Exploring the Future Jump in our “Lay Park Time Machine” as we take a special voyage into the future. Campers will have the opportunity to brainstorm and create products they believe will be available in the future. Week 3: June 21-25 Exploring the Safari Join us as we take our explorations outside! Campers will learn about the unique wildlife that make up the safari through a variety of games, scavenger hunts and crafts.Week 4: June 28-July 2 Exploring AmericaCampers will celebrate Independence Day all week by learning interesting facts and creating themed art to show American pride. Week 5: July 6-9 Exploring ArtBring out your inner artist as we explore various forms of art throughout the week. We will conduct a mini art showcase to give our campers an opportunity show off their masterpieces. Week 6: July 12-16 Exploring Dinosaurs  Explore the world of Dinosaurs! This week our explorations lead us to some of the coolest reptiles known to man. Campers will learn about a variety dinosaurs and fossils, through games, crafts, and projects. Week 7: July 19-23 Exploring Outer Space Olympics Edition 5,4,3,2,1…Blast Off!  This week we will compete in a variety Olympic style events with an outer space twist. Campers will earn points throughout the week with daily competitions, but only one group can take home the gold! Week 8: July 26-30 Exploring Under the Sea What a time it will be, to end our explorations under the Sea! Campers will learn about sea creatures and the oceans they call home. We will explore the world of art and discover different ways we can express ourselves. Week 6 July 12-16: TechknowledgyCould you go a day with no technology? Probably not! That's why we're experiencing a technology take-over. Campers will create videos, design projects, and discuss what the future might look like. Week 7 July 19-23: Teen Choice Teens, here’s your chance to create and carry out a whole week of camp! Campers will use teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving to create a week of summer fun. Week 8 July 26-30: Camp RewindThis last week ties in all previous 7 weeks of camp. Athens-Clarke Leisure Services offers small group swim lessons for children ages 3 and up. All lessons are taught by certified lifeguards. Classes are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Your child must be 3 years old or older and potty trained to participate in Swim School.The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at the Bishop Park, Lay Park and East Athens Community Center pools.

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

Join us at Lay Park this summer for Camp-Funtastic where campers will explore different adventures through recreational games, crafts, and activities.  Week 1: June 7-11 Exploring Game Mania Let’s Get Active! Forget about playing video games the traditional way. Campers will create interactive games for everyone to play influenced by some of the most popular video games. Week 2: June 14-18 Exploring the Future Jump in our “Lay Park Time Machine” as we take a special voyage into the future. Campers will have the opportunity to brainstorm and create products they believe will be available in the future. Week 3: June 21-25 Exploring the Safari Join us as we take our explorations outside! Campers will learn about the unique wildlife that make up the safari through a variety of games, scavenger hunts and crafts.Week 4: June 28-July 2 Exploring AmericaCampers will celebrate Independence Day all week by learning interesting facts and creating themed art to show American pride. Week 5: July 6-9 Exploring ArtBring out your inner artist as we explore various forms of art throughout the week. Campers will earn points throughout the week with daily competitions, but only one group can take home the gold! The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

Athens-Clarke Leisure Services offers small group swim lessons for children ages 3 and up. All lessons are taught by certified lifeguards. Classes are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Kinderswim program is a free initiative started with the goal of helping ACC children learn how to swim. The program is offered to all Athens-Clarke County 5-year-old children at no cost.  The lessons are broken into three, 45-minute classes a week for three weeks, for a total of nine lessons, and are available at all of the ACCLS pools. Participants who complete at least seven of the nine lessons will receive a free pool pass for the remainder of the pool season.Rules & Tips  - All swimmers are required to wear a swimsuit. Cotton is not allowed in the pool.  - Participants cannot register after the first two lessons to ensure swimmers have adequate time to learn to swim safely.  - Participants should bring their own towels.  - Although there is no cost, participants must register online.  - Participants must be 5-years-old to take part in Kinderswim.

Join us at Lay Park this summer for Camp-Funtastic where campers will explore different adventures through recreational games, crafts, and activities.  Week 1: June 7-11 Exploring Game Mania Let’s Get Active! Forget about playing video games the traditional way. Campers will create interactive games for everyone to play influenced by some of the most popular video games. Week 2: June 14-18 Exploring the Future Jump in our “Lay Park Time Machine” as we take a special voyage into the future. Campers will have the opportunity to brainstorm and create products they believe will be available in the future. Week 3: June 21-25 Exploring the Safari Join us as we take our explorations outside! Campers will learn about the unique wildlife that make up the safari through a variety of games, scavenger hunts and crafts.Week 4: June 28-July 2 Exploring AmericaCampers will celebrate Independence Day all week by learning interesting facts and creating themed art to show American pride. Week 5: July 6-9 Exploring ArtBring out your inner artist as we explore various forms of art throughout the week. We will conduct a mini art showcase to give our campers an opportunity show off their masterpieces. Week 6: July 12-16 Exploring Dinosaurs  Explore the world of Dinosaurs! This week our explorations lead us to some of the coolest reptiles known to man. Campers will learn about a variety dinosaurs and fossils, through games, crafts, and projects. Week 7: July 19-23 Exploring Outer Space Olympics Edition 5,4,3,2,1…Blast Off!  This week we will compete in a variety Olympic style events with an outer space twist. Campers will earn points throughout the week with daily competitions, but only one group can take home the gold! Week 8: July 26-30 Exploring Under the Sea What a time it will be, to end our explorations under the Sea! Campers will learn about sea creatures and the oceans they call home. Our campers will participate in a variety of camp related activities, such as, basic survival skills, tent building, hiking, cooking our own food, and more. Week 3 June 21-25: Shoot for the Stars East Athens and Lay Park will compete virtually in traditional and non-traditional sports competitions played around the world. Week 4 June 28-2: AmericanaLet’s get ready for a patriotic week! All games, activities, and crafts will showcase what makes America so special. We will cap the week off with a Friday cookout. Week 5 July 6-July 9: Wild at ArtUnleash your imagination by being introduced to different forms of fine art. We will explore the world of art and discover different ways we can express ourselves. Week 6 July 12-16: TechknowledgyCould you go a day with no technology? Probably not! That's why we're experiencing a technology take-over. Campers will create videos, design projects, and discuss what the future might look like. Week 7 July 19-23: Teen Choice Teens, here’s your chance to create and carry out a whole week of camp!
